ROME - Italy coach Cesare Prandelli revealed its shortlist to face the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, which protrudes Mario Balotelli, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Daniele De Rossi and Andrea Pirlo.
Notable absences from the list of Italy in Group D with Uruguay, England and Costa Rica, is that of the Roma captain Francesco Totti, as well as the Juventus striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo.
Italy opens its participation in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil face England on 14 June in the city of Manaus.
The squad, the strategist must reduce to 23 players by June 2, is as follows:
