Country “five plus one” and representatives of Tehran are negotiating on the Iranian nuclear program.
Senior diplomats representing countries in the format of “five plus one” in the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear issue, arrive in Lausanne, Switzerland, where US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif negotiate to reach a framework agreement in anticipation of the deadline on 31 March.
On Friday, March 27 at the sidelines of the talks Minister Zarif described the process as “very difficult and very complicated.”
State Department spokesman also said that “the complexity and seriousness” of negotiations, noting at the same time that President Hassan Rouhani Iran appeal to the leaders of the six countries on Thursday, “probably gives hope that Iran is ready to take some tough decisions” needed under the agreement.
President Rouhani sent a letter to the leaders of the US, UK, Germany, France, Russia and China, “explaining Iran’s position on nuclear issues and recent developments in the negotiations.”
John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister negotiate to reach agreement in anticipation of the deadline on 31 March.
