Look at Colombia, Bolivia and Panama
Starbucks on Wednesday announced its expansion into Latin America, some of which are known for coffee production.
The Seattle-based company said it will open its first coffee in Colombia by mid-year through an agreement with Alsea and Nutresa Group. The joint venture plans to open several stores in Bogota in the next five years and other major Colombian cities, reports The Associated Press.
Starbucks also plans to open a store in Bolivia this year Delosi using a regional partner. The home is in the city of Santa Cruz. Together the companies could open another dozen stores in the coming years.
