Obama Owed $ 100 Million to Fight AIDS

Currently, about 35 million people in the world need HIV treatment for life

U.S. President Barack Obama said Monday at the White House that his government will allocate $ 100 million to research aimed at finding a cure to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).


A day after the World Day to Combat AIDS, Obama said the plan will boost research in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop a new generation of drugs to replace current antiretroviral treatments.
