Shooting leaves 7 wounded early Saturday inside to party on spring break in Florida.
Seven people participating in a college party were injured, three of them seriously, in a shooting registered this morning in a residence of Panama City Beach, in northwest Florida, local authorities said.
The Sheriff’s Office Bay County confirmed the arrest of the main suspect, 22-year Jamichel David Daniels, Alabama, who was arrested for attempted murder and six charges against him.
One victim, Kearria Freed, 20, a resident of the town of Mobile, Alabama, is hospitalized in critical condition after being shot in the head, as reported by NBC News Ruth Curley, spokesman for the sheriff’s office Local.
Henton Franklin, 22 and also from Mobile, and Devanta Moore, 21, was also there are in critical condition, he added.
Curley said that officers found a “chaotic scene” arrived at his home where he spent a party shortly before 01:00 local time (0500 GMT) in response to multiple alerts neighbors.
The police found three people gunshot wounds inside the house, one in the front, and three in the street, they all immediately admitted to a local hospital.
In the backyard of the home, the troops also found a 40 caliber pistol, believed were used during the shooting.
Local authorities confirmed that some of the injured are students at Alabama A & M University, who were visiting this city for the “Spring Break”, the university holidays in the United States by the early spring.
