Over 50 million people are at risk in the U.S. by the string of tornadoes that already claimed some 20 lives.

Nearly 30 dead in two days

After the devastating tornado ravaged homes and businesses in Mississippi and Alabama, the powerful storm system also caused havoc in the Midwest Georgia where the landfall early Tuesday.

Tornadoes have dump trucks on highways and telephone poles bent at 45 degree angles, crossed Alabama and Mississippi on Monday as part of a storm system that killed at least 11 people dead in the south, which has increased the number total dead to 29, only two days of tragic bad weather, according to Associated Press.
