Later this month, Apple Pay is going to heaven, for the JetBlue airline announced that it will begin accepting this platform to pay some shopping on board.

In aircraft, passengers can use their iPhone 6 and 6 Plus devices to buy on board meals, drinks, snacks and services, once the aircraft has reached cruising altitude, USA Today reported.

To do this, the airline will equip more than 3,500 cabin crew with Minis iPad that allow passengers to make their payments.

The payments in this way will be accepted on transcontinental flights between New York and airports in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Support for additional routes will be covered by adding up in June.

Note that so far Apple Pay is accepted by organizations such as American Express, Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, McDonald’s, Panera, Wallgreens and Duane Reade and Whole Foods.
